About Me

Hello! I’m Giada Jimenez, the founder of “Gliding into Tech”. As a junior at Bergen County Academies, I’ve designed this website to showcase my work and highlight my favorite projects in an easy-to-navigate portfolio. From “Starting From Scratch” and “Girls Who Code” to “Tech Savvy Seniors,” my mission is always to empower and assist all generations through technology.

My passion for coding ignited in the 9th grade when I began exploring languages like JavaScript, followed by Structured Query Language (SQL), HTML, CSS, and Python. The logo reflects my identity as an ice skater, which has given me the drive to stay focused and disciplined to achieve all my goals. Through my time on a nationally ranked synchronized ice skating organization, I’ve learned to be disciplined in all aspects of my life from coding to launching my technology workshops. I have been skating for nine years and plan to continue my journey in both skating and coding for many more!

In addition to running Tech Savvy Seniors, I’m also involved in my school’s Girls Who Code club, where I help underclassmen girls develop their coding skills in HTML and CSS and encourage them to pursue STEM careers.
