About Me

Hello! I’m Giada Jimenez, the creative force and founder of “Gliding into Tech”. As a sophomore at Bergen County Academies, I’ve designed this website to showcase my work and highlight my favorite projects in an easy-to-navigate portfolio. From “Starting From Scratch” and “Girls Who Code” to “Tech Savvy Seniors,” my mission is always to empower and assist all generations through technology.

My passion for coding ignited in the 9th grade when I began exploring languages like JavaScript, followed by Structured Query Language (SQL), HTML, CSS, and Python. The logo reflects my identity as an ice skater, which has given me the drive to stay focused and work to achieve my goals. Through ice skating, I’ve learned to be disciplined in all aspects of my life from coding to launching this technology space. I’ve been skating for seven years and plan to continue my journey in both skating and coding for many more!

In addition to running Tech Savvy Seniors, I’m also involved in my school’s Girls Who Code chapter, where I help younger girls develop their coding skills and encourage them to pursue STEM careers.
